It was an early start to the day - left at 6:00 a.m. towards Khardung La - the highest motor-able road in the world. Reached South Pullu camp at 8:00 a.m. only to be informed of the heavy snow at the Khardung La, due to which roads would remain closed indefinitely. Better sense prevailed and we returned to Leh to head in the opposite direction towards the Pangong Tso via Chang La
